The Assad Regime is breaking every law in the books when it comes to its actions in Syria, the murder their own people with no remorse. The use of chemical weapons by the Syrian Regime, backed by the Russians shows how afraid the regime is of losing, before Russian and Iran joined the fight the Assad Regime was on its last legs, now its winning. The Russians want to keep their warm water Port and Iran wants more influence in the Region. In acting the West would so some moral authority, if the UN is stalled by Russia's veto, the West would show it is not afraid to act.
