CNN - Politics: Reports " Simply put: When Donald Trump took office, the idea that he would authorize a strike against a Syrian airbase less than 100 days into his presidency would be unimaginable. But events intervene. And presidents need to adjust. The question now is how Trump and the Congress deal with this sudden change of plans. "
Lets Get Real:
The opinion of the uber liberal press will depends on what happens next, once a President starts to bomb it becomes a habit, it depends on the reaction of Assad and Russia, if Assad keep his head low and lowers the violence for the next few days and weeks then the Trump viewpoint will return to domestic policy, on the other hand should Assad be foolish and increases the level of bombing it might force Trump to react again, the US does not want to send ground troops in to Syria to fight Assad, the reaction depend on President Putin, can he control Assad, does he want to control Assad, if the US is diverted by Syria he might try something in Ukraine.
