This is what happens when you leave such an important ally to the diplomatic hands of VP Biden, he could not get a deal for the US to remain in Iraq after 2011, thus Iran could use Iraqi air space to support Assad of Syria, Iraq has faced a hike in terrorism that is rarely reported now that the US and UK is out of Iraq. The Oval if it was clever would get a new deal, a deal for special forces to be sent back in to Iraq under the radar, of course depends how long that could last, of course the liberal base would have a nervous breakdown, but it would be the right thing to do for the interests of the West and Iraq. The removal of US troops from Iraq was seen as weakness by Tehran and Assad, thus the present problems in the Middle East. If no troops then at least the CIA and NSA could see what they could do, yes back in to Iraq, but they should have diplomatic cover, thus legal protection. SOME Wars never end, they just go back on the back burner, in till they heat up again, that is the way of the World.
