In Israel the Government must be thinking, is Romney going to lose in his bid to unseat President Obama, the polls do not look good, thus what should Israel do about Iran's nuclear threat, do they really trust that President Obama will not allow Iran to join the nuclear club, if the answer is in the negative then Israel will have to strike Tehran, the best time in political and defence terms would be close as possible to the US Presidential Election in November, this would force the Oval to support Israel in public and follow through with US attacks on Iran, it could not allow Iran to attack US and Western interests in the Middle East. The would depress the uber liberal base of the Democratic Party and give a Republicans the chance to define Obama as not fit for the job. Thus the question then folks IS WHEN? the election is on November 6th, thus the weekend before would be a good time to hit, also the Oval is dealing with the Middle East up in flames over a anti Muslim film, an attack by Israel on Iran could make that look like happy hour. Thus all politics is local folks, the article notes that POTUS will meet the Israeli PM after originally saying no to a meeting, it seems that the ego of the White House has to listen to the Israeli lobby. Tense times ahead folks, the Middle East might be facing a regional WAR.
