BBC News: Reports that the two UK Soldiers killed on Saturday in Afghanistan were killed by Afghan man wearing a Afghan Police uniform.
Lets Get Real:
Our forces need new orders when dealing with suspect Afghan Policemen, these green on blue attacks, the green represent Afghan, the blue NATO, are far to common, our Forces need more flexibility when it comes to shooting. The orders should say that if a NATO Soldier feels under threat he has the right to shoot and ask questions a lot later. This blog wants to trust our Afghan allies, BUT not at the expense of our forces, time to be more interested in keeping our Soldiers alive, even if that upsets the Afghans, lets not allow a UK Soldier to die to because we want to be PC.
