Guardian: Has a tough editorial on the Laws case, the left wing newspaper states the following on Mr Laws, ".. private torment does not necessarily excuse wrongdoing.... but he cannot have been ignorant of the rules. ". The Guardian supported the Lib Dems in the UK General Election but they expected the Lib Dems to do another Lib/Lab pact after the election, when the Lib Dems went with the David Cameron and the Conservative Party the Lib Dems become fair game to the left wing Guardian, one has to wonder if the Lib Dems had gone with the Labour Party under Gordon Brown would the Guardian have been more supportive of Mr Laws.
