Cabinet PECKING order - Coalition Government

Daily Mail: Has an interesting story on the pecking order in the Cabinet for new Coalition Government, it points out that the Defence Secretary has had a upgrade to the top ten. The upgrade shows how low ex PM Gordon Brown viewed the job of Defence Secretary, one can argue that at a time of peace then it does not matter, but during the time Brown was PM the UK was still in Iraq and is still in Afghanistan. Thus it shows that Brown while Chancellor created the foundations for the economic crash of 2008 and had no clue about the Defence of the Realm. It can be argued with some justification that Gordon Brown was not up to be Chancellor or PM, he might have been bright but bright guys gave us the Vietnam War and the War in Iraq. Why in earth did Tony Blair allow Gordon Brown to be his successor, was it revenge on the Labour Party and the Country.
