Death in Afghanistan

MOD: Reports that another UK soldier has died in Afghanistan, the soldier was from the " 1st Battalion Scots Guards, part of the 1 Grenadier Guards Battle Group". Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 263 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total it has lost 230 in combat operations and 33 due to illness, accidents and other incidents. The Month of February is turning in to a very bloody month for our Armed Forces, lets hope the sacrifice of our brave soldiers is worth it at the end, this reporter has his doubts, when it comes to Afghanistan nothing is really worth the cost to the bereaved families and to the UK.
