NATO 1 - Taliban 1 = Afghan Fgiht

The Washington Post: Reports on the slow progress of US Forces in Operation Together, the Marines are taking it slow in the town of Marja in Southern Afghanistan. One can understand the caution when it comes to fighting the Taliban, but at the end of the day the US Army does not have till the end of time to clear house. The Obama Administration does not need another attack on its national security management. The US Commanders on the ground should be given some leeway to run tactics but at the end of the day Obama needs a quick victory, we cant have weeks and months of this kind of slow progress. If local US Commanders wont move fast then POTUS must select those that will get the job done. Operation Together has military and political objectives, the political objective is some good news for the Obama White House, not the feeling that Afghanistan is turning to another Vietnam.
