Death in Afghanistan

MOD: Reports that a soldier was killed today in a combat operation in Afghanistan, the soldier was from the " Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, attached to the Light Dragoons " Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 161 of its Armed Forces Personnel in combat operations and 31 due to accidents, illness and other incidents. In total the UK has lost 192 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan. The next few weeks are critical, the Presidential Election this month in Afghanistan can help Afghanistan move forward, its important that people feel they have security and thus can vote. Thus Western Forces should expect more attacks, it will get more bloody before its all over in Afghanistan.
