The Times: It seems that the stayed paper of record is following the Liberal New York Times, from reporting the news to placing an editorial in the news, the Times writes the following on the visit of Bill Clinton to North Korea, " the mission is a masterstroke that takes advantage of a valuable resource unique in the world of diplomacy. " This is the paper that supported appeasement in the 1930s, do they ever learn, it was reported on Fox News this morning that a deal has been done to release the American Reporters, the question is what is the cost, is the deal separate from the issue of the nuclear structure of North Korea or part of a larger deal. One has to ask , is it Jimmy Carter to Iran next, Obama is seems does not have the backbone to deal with totalitarian regimes. Lets be fair here, with North Korea Obama does not have a lot of choices, any military option is off the table, the Times has reported that North Korea can already place miniature warheads on missiles, thus its a nuclear power. Thus the Obama Administration does not have a lot of choice it has to talk to North Korea, but sending a former President who is the husband of the Secretary of State, bad move, if that was the price for the release it was a price that should never have been paid. The reason, Iran has arrested three holidaymakers, what lesson will they take away from this case, simple, charge and place the three American on trial and wait for a semi Presidential visit from Bill Clinton. This sounds like a State Department idea, and Obama seems to have gone along with the idea. Lets hope there is a deal to release the American Reporters, but the cost will come down the line with Iran.
