Lets Get Real:

In foreign policy one has to be careful, with Asian politics eve more so, face/honour is very important to China, they are also the banker for the US.   The US needs China to buy its bonds, otherwise it could not spend money like a drunken sailor.   On the other hand China has so much US debt it can not afford to see the US go in to economic decline, it is a very much a Mexican stand off, also China is a counter balance to Russia, thus has to be kept happy, let us hope Trump knows what he is doing in China, foreign policy is more complex than building a Hotel.

Recount Process - Part 9 - Michigan - Trump Era

CNN - Politics: Reports " Michigan will become the second state to conduct a recount of ballot casts during the 2016 presidential election. "

Lets Get Real:

The chance that the recounts will change the result are slim, but it is important to check, the election shows that Trump does not have a great mandate to change the course, of course it can be argued that election of Trump itself is a mandate, these kind of rhetoric debates can go on till forever.   The Republicans as is their right have the right to challenge these recounts, it would be SAD if the result came from the Courts, as in 2000 election.

Recount Process Part 8 - Trump Era

Fox News: Reports " And in Pennsylvania, an updated count Friday by state election officials showed Trump's lead shrinking to 49,000 from 71,000 over Clinton, out of 6 million votes cast, as more counties finish counting overseas ballots and settled provisional ballot challenges.  "

Lets Get Real:

The above shows there are votes out there that have not been counted, the Greens and the Democrats should push their demands for a hand recount and a check of the election machines to see if they have been hacked.   The demand for a software check might be harder to get, as the Courts do not want to go through each Machine, it would take months, the deadline for votes in December 13th.  The Democratic Party should be supporting Stein, with legal and money support, there is long shot chance she might be right, better to check than a President Trump.

Let Get Real:

As also noted by this blog the taxpayer is expected to meet the demands of the Green Party, the question that has to be asked is WHY the Green Party has not paid up, it has collected millions, why will it not pay.   One is starting to think that the Trump was right, that it is a scam to make money for the Green Party without actually spending the money.  The taxpayer should not pay the costs, IF Hillary Clinton really thinks she has a chance she should put her money were her lawyers are, pay for the recount, one can sure rich liberals will pay up any request, the whole process makes the US look like a laughing stock.

Recount Process Part 6 - Pennsylvania

BBC News: Reports " The US Green Party led by Jill Stein has changed its strategy in seeking a state-wide recount in Pennsylvania. "

Lets Get Real:

THUS as noted in this blog that it would  happen, the recount process has moved to the federal court, who ever wins it will get appealed ALL the way to the US Supreme Court.   As that Supreme Court is tied between Liberals and Conservatives the last finding holds.  As a political geeks enjoys the process, the US voter might have other ideas.   One does wonder what Stein wants, does she want to ruin the system or is really looking for a real recount, that is for the reader to decide.

Recount Process Part 5 - Trump Era

Fox News: Reports " The Wisconsin recount was estimated to cost about $3.9 million. Stein paid $973,250 for the requested recount in Michigan. Michigan's Republican secretary of state, Ruth Johnson, has said a recount could cost $5 million total. "

Lets Get Real:

The States should charge Stein with the full costs of having these recounts, as she has no chance of winning she should get her supporters to pay the costs.   The poor tax payers in these States could be out of pocket by millions.   The Green Party and the left want these recounts for some reason, their detailed answers do not match reality, there is no proof that the Russians hacked the election systems, even the Obama Oval has stated that fact, thus WHY.   The LEFT are very BAD LOSERS, that is not the point, in this case the blog supports the recount, HRC would make a great President, but the tax payer should not get his/her wallet out, there are very rich individuals on the left, let them, use their wealth for democracy.

Lets Get Real:

IF this blog understands the small print of the US election law, the result has to be ready by December 12th, as then we have the electoral college meet to vote for the President.  If there are any problems with the actual result the process moves to the House.   The Republicans control the House, thus one would think would give the Oval Office to Trump.   THUS one has to asked why is Stein doing this, she can not win, in that sense she is not even a player, the chances of HRC taking the Oval are even more remote, thus again WHY.   One can only suspect that it is a branding scam, trying to get the Stein and the Green Party more PR.   It is the poor tax payer that has to pay the costs.
