May on Brexit - Brexit Update - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The speech by the PM put this blogger to sleep, it was boring, and close reading of the details you wonder why are leaving, the May plan keeps the UK very close to the EU and we have to pay to be members of different bodies in the EU, you could almost ask why we are leaving.   The Brexit supporters have been very quiet, the deal looks a SOFT BREXIT, if the EU agrees, also the deal wanted by PM May is not like Canada or Norway, it would be Canada plus plus.   It will be interesting to see what the extreme sides in the Conservative Party say about the deal.  On whole this blogger is not that impressed, we will be still far too close to the EU, even if a new passports say we are out.

Prime Minister Questions - Brexit Update 3 - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

In other words the PM won the debate, when it comes to PMQs the Leader of the Opposition is not that great, also Brexit is not his favourite subject as he supports a HARD BREXIT, but can not say that, he fears the remainers in his own Party.   The PM was tough and she told the Labour backbenches to calm down, that was very effective.  The UK has a YEAR of Brexit to go.

Northern Ireland Part 2 - Brexit Update 2 - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The UK Government has not been tough enough with the EU, the EU thinks it can roll over the UK, the moaning remainers are giving the EU hope.   The PM has made it clear that the draft agreement by the EU is a not on, the PM should make it clear that if the EU carries on with these kind of ideas that the UK will walk away and go on to WTO rules.  This move would shut up Labour and the moaning remainers in the Conservative Party.   The UK voter in 2016 stated what it wanted, it wants Brexit to mean Brexit, and more it wants it OVER WITH, the Falklands War did not take this long.

Northern Ireland and Brexit - Brexit Update - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The PM has to be firm with the EU, Northern Ireland will remain part of the UK in till a majority vote to become part of the Republic.   The idea that a virtual border between the UK mainland and Northern Ireland is out of the question.   The UK did not leave the EU as to create havoc in the UK and its nations.   In Parliament the DUP helps the Conservatives govern, without the DUP the Conservatives would be a minority government, they have to be kept on side.   It can be argued that the EU is playing games, it must know that its draft paper published today would go down like a lead balloon.   PM has to be be seen to be firm, she has to stand up to the EU, and make it clear that the UK could walk away from the talks.

Trouble with the EU - Brexit Update 3 - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

This blog has called for the UK to walk away from talks with the EU, the EU as a body as no interest in doing a fair deal with the UK.  If the PM had a backbone she would states that the UK was out of the EU and that we would take WTO rules.   Then the issue would be over, it would be up to Labour and the moaning remainers to try and thwart the will of the UK voter.   The PM will give a speech on Friday, one does wonder what she will say!!   The EU would coming running back to us if we stated our position within force, we have the money and they need that for the EU, always play a strong hand in poker, never fold.

Fox on the attack when it comes to Brexit - Brexit Update 2 - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The packet of Crisps line was planned by the pro remainers, in the BBC segment on the speech it showed people giving out packets of Crisps, thus it was staged.   The BBC did not seem to know that or didn't want to say.   The BBC and Sky News are so in the pro remain pocket that they have forgotten to be fair and balanced.   The Brexit supporters have to fight every day, every hour, they have to be on social media 24/7, the pro remainers have the BBC/Sky News, Guardian, as stated.  The pro remainers will say whatever and they are not challenged by the news networks.

The UK Government on a Customs Union - Brexit Update - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The UK Government is looking at losing a House of Commons vote on a Customs Union, the PM will have to say that if a minority of the Conservative backbench MPs vote against a Customs Union she will resign.   This should not be a idle threat, the MPs have to get the fact that they could have Boris Johnson as PM, that will take the wind out of any rebellion.    A Johnson vs. Corbyn match at a general election would be a real contest, and Boris likes a good fight in the press.   The Conservative rebels have to have a chat with the PM and the Chief Whip, give them a way to back down without it looking like its pressure.
