BBC News: Reports " Any form of customs union with the EU after Brexit would be a "complete sellout" for the UK, International Trade Secretary Liam Fox has said. "
Lets Get Real:
The UK Government is looking at losing a House of Commons vote on a Customs Union, the PM will have to say that if a minority of the Conservative backbench MPs vote against a Customs Union she will resign. This should not be a idle threat, the MPs have to get the fact that they could have Boris Johnson as PM, that will take the wind out of any rebellion. A Johnson vs. Corbyn match at a general election would be a real contest, and Boris likes a good fight in the press. The Conservative rebels have to have a chat with the PM and the Chief Whip, give them a way to back down without it looking like its pressure.
