Obama's FAILURE to LEAD - 2nd Term Blues

The White House: Has a readout of the meeting between President Obama and Congressional Leaders last night, " Tonight, the President hosted a meeting with the members of the Congressional Leadership that lasted for over an hour.  The President made clear to the Leaders that he is not going to negotiate over the need for Congress to act to reopen the government or to raise the debt limit to pay the bills Congress has already incurred.  The President reinforced his view that the House should put the clean government funding bill that has been passed by the Senate up for a vote - a bill that would pass a majority of the House with bipartisan support.  The House could act today to reopen the government and stop the harm this shutdown is causing to the economy and families across the country.  The President remains hopeful that common sense will prevail, and that Congress will not only do its job to reopen the government, but also act to pay the bills it has racked up and spare the nation from a devastating default.  The President is glad that the Leaders were able to engage in this useful discussion this evening. ".

Lets Get Real:

The real agenda of the Obama White House is shown by the phrase that the Oval will not negotiate, the art of politics folks is cutting deals, expecting the other side just to give up is not the way of the US system, in Europe Governments will large majorities can rule as they like, but the US Founding Fathers did not want a President to think he was  A King, it seems President Obama thinks he is King Obama, thus can rule by his word.    The Republicans have to keep their nerve, not give an inch on the CR, or on the debt ceiling.   Even Kings can sometimes over play their hands, Obama if wants a 100% WIN, could find he gets a 100% loss in 2014, the Democrats might not get the House back and the Republicans could retake the Senate, also the Republicans could nominate a candidate that could beat Hillary Clinton in 2016.  How long would ObamaCare last if the Republicans control ALL branches of Government. 

Obama's REFUSAL to Deal Part 2 - 2nd Term Blues

The New York Times: Reports the political strategy of the White House when it comes to the shut down, " ..mounted a full-court press on Wednesday to enlist the nation’s business leaders to pressure Congressional Republicans to agree to finance the government and increase the nation’s borrowing limit without demanding other measures in exchange. ".

Lets Get Real:

In other words folks the Oval wants the Republicans to surrender, have you noticed the elite media always asks when the Republicans are going to budge, never THE OVAL or the Democratic controlled Senate.  The elite media has played itself as an arm of the Obama White House, its kissing the Presidential backside and shows no shame.   The Republican leadership should hold firm, not move one inch, and not raise the US debt ceiling one dime, in till the Democrats give on ObamaCare, the Democrats can only hold out so long folks, the press sooner or later will get tired of just asking questions to Republicans, and even the voters will get the fact that the Oval and the Democrats on the Hill are just playing games.   Time for the Republicans to be an elephant and not budge, time to WIN folks, the Oval wants something in the 2nd term, like immigration reform, make the Oval see that it will get NOTHING if does not deal.   

Obama's Refusal to DEAL - 2nd Term Blues

Guardian - US Live: Reports the following from the White House Press Secretary Carney in  its 2.14pm (US) post, " .. said the mini-bills in the House to fund parks, veterans services and the District of Columbia are unacceptable. "That is not how this works," Carney says. "It's a gimmick... and it's unserious. If they think those services should be open, vote to open the government.".

Lets Get Real:

This shows how the Obama White House is ALL political folks, it will not budge, it wants 100% its way or take the HIGH ROAD, the Republicans in the House have to keep together not matter what, those Republicans In Name Only have to have their arms twisted, politics is sometimes about twisting the arms of your friends, they need a firm whip, they should be told that the Republican leadership will support any primary candidate that opposes those that break with the leadership, that those that break with the leadership will find themselves on the most boring and worse Committee jobs.   This is time for the leadership not to bend, show resolve to the US voter and the Oval.  And WIN one for the Gipper folks. 

Speaker Boehner on Obama- 2nd Term Blues

Guardian - US Live: Reports the following on remarks by House Speaker Boehner, " This is part of a larger pattern: the president's scorched-Earth policy of refusing to negotiate in bipartisan way on his health care law, current government funding, or the debt limit. ".

Lets Get Real:

If the Speaker wants to keep his job he has to stand tall, not budge, he has face down the most powerful man in the World, well if Syria and Iran can do it, well the US Speaker can, the Oval has refused any compromise, well if the Oval wants to fight Chicago hardball, the Republicans should play it even tougher, the Democrats are not interested in talks, they will not give way on any part of ObamaCare, thus the Republicans should pass bills that keep different parts of the Government open but not ObamaCare, lets see how long Conservative Democrats on the Hill back up the Oval, this is not a time to weaken, there can only be ONE winner, its called having a political career, Obama is out in 2017, the Republicans should stand as ONE and win one for the Gipper. 

Obama on US Government Shut Down - 2nd Term Blues

The White House: Remarks by POTUS on US Government shut down, " ..At midnight last night, for the first time in 17 years, Republicans in Congress chose to shut down the federal government.  Let me be more specific:  One faction, of one party, in one house of Congress, in one branch of government, shut down major parts of the government -- all because they didn’t like one law.

 

This Republican shutdown did not have to happen.  But I want every American to understand why it did happen.  Republicans in the House of Representatives refused to fund the government unless we defunded or dismantled the Affordable Care Act.  They’ve shut down the government over an ideological crusade to deny affordable health insurance to millions of Americans.  In other words, they demanded ransom just for doing their job.  ".

Lets Get Real:

If President Obama wants to play this game, the Republicans should play hardball, make it known that if the President uses his powers to raise  the debt ceiling without the approval of Congress they will impeach him, and this time they will make it stick, Obama thinks he is a KING, well Monarch's do not face Mid Term Elections and Presidential Elections in a four year cycle.  The Republicans should make the Democrats pay for supporting Obama, every Conservative Democrat in the House and Senate should be tied to Obama, ObamaCare is not supported by the US voter, thus time to show that Obama is NO Bill Clinton, he needs people falling at his feet, when either people or countries say NO, and stick to it , he backs off, lets play Chicago hardball folks. 

US Government Shut Down? Part 2 - 2nd Term Blues

Telegraph: Reports the following from Washington D.C., " The government spending bill now returns to the House of Representatives, where Republicans are expected to again add amendments to delay the healthcare law and essentially guarantee a shutdown. ".

Lets Get Real: 

Politics is an ART folks, the Democrats could me making a mistake in thinking that Obama is another Bill Clinton, he is not, he is not that liked by either Republicans or even Democrats in his own Party, he is no LBJ, Reagan or Clinton when it comes to working with the Congress.  On the whole he likes mass crowds of devotion, not that great on the raw meat that is political deals.   Obama likes the perks of being President, Marine 1, Air Force, One, those trips to play golf, how will cope answering his own phone, cooking his own food, yes folks, if the Oval wants to play this game, the Republicans should go in HARD, the White House staff, political and domestic should not get paid, political deals are sometimes best when both sides suffer, the Republicans will get heat,the elite media will make sure of that folks, but the Democrats need BIG GOVERNMENT, what happens if the US does not fall apart with a long term close down of the Government, yes folks Democrats will be hurt, the Republicans have nothing to lose, that can not be said of the Democrats.  History does repeat itself folks, but not always, and the results can be different, Obama is not up for re-election, the Democrats are folks, politics is the art of the possible folks, not strict agendas that either move with the times or are finished. 

US Government Shut Down? - 2nd Term Blues

Guardian - US Live: Reports the following from its 3.18pm ( US ) post, " According to.... GOP members....the House will take up a measure that imposes a one-year delay on a key provision of Obamacare,* the individual mandate requiring everyone to carry insurance or face a fine. ".

Lets Get Real:

The elite media both sides of the pond have their talking points already, its the fault of the Republicans, they do not ask why the White House does not give a little,  even as it has been shown that parts of ObamaCare has had to be delayed, as it either does not work or is not ready, so why should business get a pass when Main Street has to pay a tax if it does not get medical cover.  Folks watch the elite media, TV and Press to see if they even bring that up.   The Elite media has gone back to COVER for the egotist in the Oval, that is no  great surprise as Fox News has shown a lot of reporters have taken the 50p of the White House to work in the Obama Administration, when you have a Republican in the Oval you do not have this level of reporters going over to the other side, it shows that the elite media is one sided in its reporting, and always has been folks.  ObamaCare is a disaster for the US economy, small business is reducing the hours that employers work as not to be part of ObamaCare, and big business is dumping its workers from its health cover as the costs are to much, thus folks, in the process the Oval is destroying the power of the Unions in the US, as one of their benefits was to get medical cover for workers, now employers can point to ObamaCare, and tell them to get it themselves.   That is the TRUE story of ObamaCare folks.
