The US Death Toll in Afghanistan

BBC News: Reports that the US has lost eight soldiers in one day in Afghanistan. The situation in Afghanistan is on knife edge, this year alone according to icasualties.org the USA has lost 238 of its soldiers, since the start of the war in 2001 the USA has lost 868 of its Armed Forces Personnel. While President Obama does his Hamlet bit, the US action in Afghanistan is going down the toilet fast, the US Commander in Afghanistan, General McChrystal has stated that he needs another forty thousand soldiers to change the strategy in Afghanistan, move from killing the Taliban/Terrorists to the protect of the Afghan people. If Obama tries a middle path, more troops but not enough the President is guilty of sending people to their deaths because does not have the guts to take on his Liberal base. It more easy for this blog to be harsh on Obama on this subject due to the fact that while he checked in to and out of the US Senate to run for the Presidency this blog wanted out of Afghanistan. Thus blog is no 60s hippie throw back to Vietnam, but due to UK losses in Afghanistan has changed its viewpoint, to much blood has been left on the ground in Afghanistan for the West to allow the Taliban/Terrorists to win. Its not about vanity, if Afghanistan is take over how long Pakistan, thus the West has to win in Afghanistan, the bloody place.

Iran can MAKE the BOMB

The New York Times: Reports that the UN's IAEA reports that Iran can make a nuclear bomb. Lets hope Israel have birds on the tarmac ready to go, Iran will play Obama, and worse aspect is that Obama wants to be played by Iran. This is not the time for weakness by Israel, Obama will never take tough action, he cant stop himself pandering to the Liberal Democratic base, Israel will have to protect itself, Obama cant be trusted as an Ally.

MOD: Has released the name of the UK casualty of last Thursday in Afghanistan, the MOD states the following, " Senior Aircraftman Marcin Wojtak from 34 Squadron The Royal Air Force Regiment was killed as a result of an explosion whilst commanding his vehicle in the desert to the south of Bastion Joint Operating Base on Thursday 1 October 2009. " Our thoughts are with Senior Aircraftman Marcin Wojtak's family.

Inspection of Secret Nuclear Plant - Iran ( BBC Breaking News )

BBC News: Reports that the UN's IAEA will inspect Iran's secret nuclear plant on the 25 October 2009. If the UN and the Obama Administration falls for this cat and mouse game with Iran then they are foolish, Iran is playing a game. They want the bomb, they have seen how appeasing the USA has been to North Korea over its bomb. As stated Obama is the new Neville Chamberlain, he does not have the backbone to take on Iran, he has sold out Poland, Czech Republic for nothing, even the Liberal NYT has reported that Russia might say it support sanctions against Iran but when it comes to a vote it will make sure the sanctions are mild. In Afghanistan Obama is looking like he will throw the people of Afghanistan in to the bin to keep his left wing happy, it can be argued that those brave Armed Forces Personnel are being killed for nothing because their Commander in Chief will not support the soldiers in the fox holes. The USA voter have managed to elect a combination of Jimmy Carter and Neville Chamberlain, it is about time the American voter grew up, the cost of weakness in an American President is the loss of brave soldiers in Afghanistan. Thus in 2010 the American voter should vote in a Republican Congress and and in 2012 send Obama to be a warm act for Jimmy Carter.

" A Hollywood star is only as good as the last gross of his last movie, it seems that it could be the world that is the first to leave the Obama theatre. If Obama Aide would not take a out a hefty mortgage based on being in the White House for eight years, you could find that the Republicans take over the House in 2010 and and President Obama could lose 48 states in 2012. It like when sound came to the movies 1927, some voices in the long term didn't cut it, thus could this be the fate of Obama, loved then deserted in droves, guess he could be a warm act for Jimmy Carter.

Hollow President, Obama the WINDY Man!

An American President does not at any cost want the appearance that his Presidency is hollow, that he is weak, at home he cant get his Agenda through the Congress, while abroad he is seen as another Jimmy Carter, not feared but seen as naive and weak. Thus my prediction that Obama will be a one term President, his he cant get beyond his own arrogance, quite sad really in some respects.

" Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 219 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total, 188 have died in combat operations, while the other 31 have died due to illness, accidents or other incidents.
