Let's recall that Putin has been in power since 2000, either as President or Prime Minister. Bush 43 stated that he had seen the soul of Putin, one critic stated that the Putin soul had KGB stamped on it. The POTUS should expect a tough and frosty meeting, neither side has much to give and Putin has read Biden, he is a empty suit who will not do anything if there is a REAL CRISIS, aka Cuban Missile Crisis or the Russian fear in 1983 that the US was about to do a first strike on the USSR. Thus the West should expect more game playing by Putin, what next, an invasion of the rest of the Ukraine, a threat to the Baltic States, all these could happen, Putin is that ruthless and with no morals.
