Guardian - Live Posting: Reports in its 12.38pm post the following, " The Berlin police chief has given a press conference. He has revealed that it is not absolutely clear whether the person in police custody is the driver involved in the attack on a Christmas market in Berlin. The man, an asylum seeker from Pakistan, has denied the offence. "
Lets Get Real:
This sounds like a long investigation, on one front you have 12 deaths and 48 that were injured, thus the public will demand a quick investigation, but in this Global World it will take time to investigate all the leads. From the various news feeds it looks like the Lorry was hijacked and then used as a weapon, one of the victims was a the driver who was dead in the lorry. There COULD be someone still out there in Berlin, but that has not been confirmed and the Berlin Police are asking for the German people to report any incidents or fears they might have, thus still a developing story.
