BBC News: Reports " Syrian forces backed by Hezbollah militants from Lebanon are said to have made significant advances against rebels after heavy Russian air strikes. "
Lets Get Real:
The Assad Regime is using the Russian attacks on its enemies to take back ground that it has lost. The Russians are hitting rebels that are a threat to Assad and Daesh. In some cases these rebels are being supported by the West. In pure power politics the Russians now own the Syrian war, so far they have had no losses, will that last, with Russians fighting with the Assad troops. Lets be clear, the war in Syria is a dirty war, the Geneva rules for POW's has been thrown out of the window. As to the question should the UK enter the air space of Assad, that needs a lot more debate, and more troops on the ground, there is no rush, as long as the US and the Russians do not start World War 3.
