BBC News: Reports that former Cabinet Minister Chris Huhne has been sent to prison for eight months for perverting the course of justice.

This is case shows that the UK legal system works, no one is above the law, well the Queen is the law, but that is different, the charge of perverting the course of justice is serious folks, at the heart of the matter was the illegal transfer of car points from Chris Huhne to his then wife. The process with those caught breaking the law when it comes to speeding in a car is that they are sent a letter asking to accept penalty points, as Mr Huhne had many points this could have prevented him travelling in a time when he was seeking a Seat in the House of Commons, thus his wife took the points. The system can only work on good faith, there is the general perception that this act is common, that is not the point, not everyone is a Cabinet Minister, and could have been the leader of a Political Party in a Coalition Government, also as a Cabinet Minister Mr Huhne was the Rt Hon Chris Huhne, thus it was different folks. Thus the system works folks.
