Guardian: Report on the forthcoming memoir by former Labour Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling, in his memoir Mr Darling states that former Labour PM Tony Blair stated that having a working relationship with Brown was like having dental work with the pain. The legendary feud between Blair and Brown has become a legend. One has to wonder why Tony Blair allowed Brown to become his successor, in his own memoir the former PM states he would rather protect the new Labour brand than the Government under Brown, in other words Party before Country. The Labour Party should feel very guilty.
