The New York Times: Reports on the close working relationship between the US, UK and the regime of Colonel Gaddafi, the Western Intelligence Agencies sent terrorists there for questioning, it was hardly name and number kind of questioning, the article states that the UK carried out one such operation. As the period that the captured files mention are between 2002/07 this will raise awkward questions for former President George W. Bush and former Labour PM Tony Blair. In the UK Mr Blair could be asked did he know the level of the relationship between the UK and Gaddafi’s Libya. One would have thought that both the CIA and MI6 would have gotten these files first, the kind of stuff the Intelligence Agencies don’t want in the public. Lets hope there are no other files that can cause problems for MI6 or the UK Government. As rule never get in to bed with a former terrorist Government, they have a habit of staining all that they come in to contact with, poor judgement by the UK and the US.
