Guardian: A ex Labour Armed Force Minister Adam Ingram has admitted that he did not tell the truth to the House of Commons when it came to the conduct of the Armed Forces in Iraq when it came to getting information out of individuals. Mr Ingram stated that the blame for the false information came from the fact that the his Ministerial Staff had not kept him informed and had not show him the correct paperwork. Lets see if this has legs folks, will the staff of the Minister be questioned on the above, will they have the same memories, I recall from Yes Minister that there are something things a Minister does not want to know, in fact its very important that a Minister makes sure he or she does not know, that is the job of the Civil Service to take the flak for the Minister, lets see after their salaries have been made public if they feel they should take the flak. At least the Coalition Government is clean on this subject, its the fault of Tony Blair and his successor Gordon Brown.
