Death in Afghanistan

MOD: Reports that a British Soldier was killed today in Afghanistan, the Soldier was from the " 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery, attached to 4th Regiment Royal Artillery, serving as part of Combined Force Nad 'Ali, ". Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 293 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total it lost 259 in combat operations and 34 due to illness, accidents or other incidents.
