Death in Afghanistan

MOD: Reports that a Welsh Soldier was killed yesterday in Afghanistan, the soldier was from the " 1st Battalion The Royal Welsh (Royal Welch Fusiliers) ". Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 281 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total it has lost 248 in combat operations and 33 due to illness, accidents or other incidents. It can be postulated that the Taliban/Al Qaeda will use the election the UK to stress more attacks on UK forces in Afghanistan. Lets hope the military top brass have taken this under consideration, in other words our Armed Forces Personnel in combat action should shoot first and ask questions later, a lot later. The Taliban/Al Qaeda don't play by Western rules, and to be honest this blog is getting angry at the huge loss of our Forces, if the enemy is not playing by the rules of WAR it about time we started to use the methods from later stages of the Boer War in South Africa, harsh, brutal but effective, lets win this war, otherwise it will turn in another Basra, and a defeat.
