Sky News: Reports in its 10.06pm post that the US is going to sanction two of Russia's biggest oil companies.

This is POTUS showing his frustration with President Putin of Russia.  The Oval is so mercurial, he might change his mind tomorrow, what is left for the West to sanction in Russia, the sanctions before were meant to cripple Russia and its war with the Ukraine, it has not worked.  The Russian Bear only understands power, Appeasement only enables Putin and Russia.   The innocent pay the price of Appeasement, a kindergarden was hit today by Russia, Moscow must be forced to STOP the War

Zelensky agrees to Trump Compromise- Trump47

Guardian: Reports that President Zelensky has agreed to Trump compromise of a  ceasfire at present lines in the Ukraine - Russian War.

Lets Get Real:

The Russian have made it CLEAR, they want all their demands and will not compromise on anything, Putin sees Trump as his lap dog, a pawn of Russia, Europe also sees Trump as weak, thus trying to keep on his good side, thus agreeing to his ceasfire deal.   The War in the Ukraine will only be solved when either Trump gets tired of  being lead by the nose by Putin or there is a new tough President in 2029, hopefully a blue dog Democrat, liberal on social issues but tough on foreign policy.

King and Queen visit Rome - State Event

BBC News: Reports that King Charles III and Queen Camilla are in Rome to visit the Pope and will pray with him.

Lets Get Real:

This is an important event, this is the 1st time since the Reformation that a British Monarch has prayed with a Pope, 500 hundred years.  In this troubled world, it is good to see the heads of the Protestant and Catholic Churches United to pray for the future, this blog would have waited for the thousand year, but one has to trust the King on these kind of events.

No Trump - Putin Summit - White House

Guardian Reports in its 5.22pm post that there will not be a Summit between Trump and Putin in Hungary.

Lets Get Real:

Thus the show Summit between Trump and Putin will not happen, the idea by Trump for the WAR in the Ukraine to end with both sides freezing fighting at their present locations, does not work for Russia, they want the whole Eastern location, even areas they not presently occupy with their invasion force.  The Oval must learn, there are limits to its power, not every event is about the Donald, and Putin treats weakness with total contempt, POTUS will have to learn, that he is seen as a pawn of Russia by Moscow and Europe.  

US Allies could take on Hamas - Trump47

Sky News: Reports in its 2.12pm post thar US Allies in the region could take on Hamas if they do not behave and follow the Trump peace plan.

Lets Get Real:

You  can never trust terrorists, their word is no good.  One cannot see Hamas giving up power and their arms.  The power of Hamas in Gaza comes from their military capability, thus the public  executions and attack on Israeli soldiers, for the Trump peace plan to work the Hamas group will have to give up their arms and allowe Gaza to be run by peace board headed by Trump and Tony Blair.   The Trump peace plan is on life support, one more attack by Hamas could void the Trump peace plan in the Middle East.

UK ready to send troops to the Ukraine - Update

BBC News reports that the UK is ready to send troops to the Ukraine if Trump can do a deal with President Putin.

Lets Get Real:

The UK is ready to spend a 100 million on the deployment of UK forces to the border between Ukraine and Russia, that will infuriate Putin in Russia.  That is why this blog thinks that Putin is conning Trump, he will not want NATO Troops in the Ukraine, as this will prevent future action by him or his successor, he does not want WW3, it is reported that he has  young family even if he is old.  The Budapest Summit will be interesting, Ukraine won't be there, Putin and Zelensky hate each other, and Putin just wants to brow beat Trump again.

Lets Get Real:

Putin is playing Trump, he knows the pressure points, he threatens WW3 or his court every time the West, or in this case Europe helps the Ukraine, and Trump is lap dog and is frightened of Putin, no else is, we have seen it all before, tyrants and President of the United States are so used to YES people, they lose touch with reality, when faced with real opposition, the coalition of the willing has to help President Zelensky, they must send more arms and whatever else they want to the Ukraine.   The Oval will feel pressure if they lose the 2026 Mid Terms to the Democrat, let hope they find a real spine, in other words became the hawks to the Dove in the Oval Office.   There are reports that Zelensky will come to London on Friday, we might need to buck him up after his meeting with POTUS.  I noticed that Sir Keir did not fly to D.C to get Trump back on the same page, there will come a split sooner or later between the US and Europe and the UK when it comes to the Ukraine.
