The Kremlin wants to WIN this war by whatever means, thus the above warning, it can be postulated that the Russians will use ALL their weapons, one doubts they will use battle field nuclear weapons, there would be no coming back from that, thus it can be expected that the Russians will use weapons that can take the air out of people's lungs and cause a buildings to explode. The Kremlin thought process might be that the WEST will retreat from its sanctions if the WAR comes to an end. Of course IF Putin has gone mad he might go for Poland or the Baltic States, POTUS made a mistake by saying that he would not send US troops to the Ukraine, it allows Putin to know that Biden is appeasing him on the military front. The question of Western sanctions working is interesting, they wont effect Putin but might hurt the rich and the people on the street, how much economic pain can the Russian people take, what will get them out on the streets on mass to try to take down the PUTIN REGIME.
