Daily Mail: Reports " Theresa May warns peers not to tie her hands in Brexit talks and vows to meet crushing Lords defeat on flagship laws with a 'robust' response "
Lets Get Real:
This development should be welcomed by No 10, the PM can argue that she does not have the votes in the Commons to overturn the result, then the UK could stay within the Customs Union and even single market, this blog is surprised that the single market has not come up so far. The Conservatives cannot afford another General Election, this would allow Jeremy Corbyn in to No 10, that would be a disaster for the Conservative Party and the UK. The House of Lords has done the Government a favour, it should be used, the Conservatives have to think long term.
