It was brave for the BBC to show the version of the latest issue of Charlie Hebdo with the cartoon depicting the Prophet Muhammad. One can assume that there were talks at the hightes levels of the BBC as to show the cartoon, In many respects the BBC had no choice, it could not allow terrorists to decide what is shown on the BBC.
