Lets Get Real:
If IS is on the run then one can argue that the Obama's air attack alone plan is working, of course this based on the difference structure to the latest video, as noted in previous post Mr Kassig could have shown resistance thus no PR speech before his death. The question that arises what does the West do about the towns under the control of IS, one can hardly expect the new Iraqi army to do door to door fighting, the US has a track record in this so we are back to when US troops will be back in Iraq and now Syria to finish off IS. One can assume Western Special Forces are already in Syria and Iraq, the question is will President Obama allow thousands of US ground troops back in to Iraq after promising they would not fight. Without US and UK ground troops this IS War will last years, well in to the next US Administration, one gets the impression that Secretary Hillary Clinton if she becomes President will fight to win in Iraq and Syria.
