Death in Afghanistan

MOD: Reports that a British Soldier died yesterday in Afghanistan due to an accident, the Soldier was from the “ 1st Battalion The Royal Irish Regiment ”. Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 351 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total it has lost 309 in combat action and 42 due to illness, accidents or other incidents.
