Sky News: Reports " What does Theresa May's victory mean for her Brexit deal?..The PM is now more likely to get her Brexit deal through parliament but she still has a mountain to climb, writes Jason Farrell. "
Lets Get Real:
It is CLEAR from the statement by the PM that she understands that she needs the support of the 117 MPs who didn't vote for her, thus her statement that she is looking for a legally binding assurance when it comes to Irish Backstop. The PM can afford to lose a few remainers, she needs the 117 MPs voted against her to vote for her reformed deal. If the UK Parliament can get out of the Irish Backstop when it wants then the Hard Brexit supporters might come around, they will not be happy but they will support the the deal. It can also be argued that some Labour MPs will also support a reformed deal. It has been interesting watching BBC News and Sky News, the channels have showed that they are deep in the Remain Camp, they are wanting the Labour Party to have a no confidence vote as to allow the Party to move for a " Peoples Vote ", PR for the Remainers to thwart Brexit, or they want the House of Commons to revoke Brexit. The right wing press are supporting the PM for now, let's see if that lasts, the PM needs a reformed deal or we will be the same mess as now. The PM has a limited time to get a new deal, at least the House of Commons will be in recess over the Christmas period, the PM has a lot of work to do, she will need a stiff welsh whiskey over the few days.
