The UK Government has to be firm with the EU, the EU wants to make it clear that any Country that follows the example of the UK will get the same tough treatment. The UK is not any Country, and we have the money to keep the EU afloat after we leave, or we leave on WTO rules and the EU does not get any money. The EU has started to believe its ow press statements, the British had an Empire and did the job in a efficient manner when compared to the EU. The Conservative Party is split between hard remainers and hard Brexit supporters, the PM needs to keep the Party together no matter what the EU wants. The PM has to be tough with the EU.
