Death in Afghanistan

MOD: Reports that a third British Soldier was killed on Saturday in Afghanistan, the Soldier was from the " Royal Logistic Corps, serving with the Counter-IED Task Force in support of Combined Force Nahr-e Saraj (South) ". Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 322 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total it has lost 283 in combat operations and 39 due to illness, accidents or other incidents.
