The Battle for the Swat Valley

BBC News: Reports that Refuges are leaving the Swat Valley, as a major battle is expected between the Army of Pakistan and the Taliban/Terrorists. It might be early but I think this is the turning point folks, the Army of Pakistan has gotten off the dime and could be closing in on the Taliban. The Swat Valley has to be taken back under the control of the Government, the Taliban have to be thrown back to the badlands of the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The pressure from the Obama Administration and UK PM Gordon Brown seems to have done the trick, the elite of Pakistan have understood their power was at risk, even more important Pakistan was at risk. Thus the Taliban are on the way to being removed as a major threat to the Government of Pakistan. One caution folks, I want to see independent reports from the region, is Islamabad spinning before a meeting between the President of Pakistan and Obama. This really could be the turning point folks.
