Russia Threatening Nuclear War - Update

Let's Get Real:

The usual nuclear sabre rattling by Russia, the Kremlin is on the backfoot so its gets its supporters to talk of nuclear war.  If they had planned to go nuclear they would done it by now, this is PR for the people of Russia, who do not know that Putin had half million men in the Ukraine.  It is time that Putin was overthrown, to save Russia and the World.

US - Iran talks called off - Update

Let's Get Real: 

The tricky problem of Israel still in Lebanon, the MOU is not popular in Israel and neither is Trump.  The people of Israel think they have been sold out by an ally.  At least Israel is standing up to Hezbollah and Iran, that cannot be said of the Trump Administration.  Trump is a TACO President, a chicken in other words.

Burnham WINS Makerfield and Starmer to stand in any Leadership Contest - Update

Thus the clock starts, will Starmer fight in his bunker or go with grace?  So far enjoy the popcorn, it looks like a fight between Starmer, Burnham and Streeting.  When will the candidates fire the gun to start the race, next week when Burnham officially becomes an MP or will someone jump the queue? We shall see.

 

Iran's Supreme Leader Opposed the Memorandum of Understanding- Update

Fox News: Reports the following, " Iran leader opposed MOU, but approved it only after Iranian president took responsibility "

The good news for Trump is that Iran's Supreme Leader also opposed the MOU and that the Iranian President took responsibility for it, there are always hawks and Doves in each country.  This latest revelation does not change this blogs and the general opinion that Trump blundered in to a WAR of choice and failed.

Iran to charge fees for Strait of Hormuz - Update

Guardian: Reports the following, " Iran announces plans to bring in maritime fees for strait of Hormuz " 

Let's Get Real: 

This was not the US plan for the Strait and Gulf States are already complaining, the WAR was a strategic blunder of the first order, Tehran states the fees will come in to effect after the extension to the 60 day ceasefire.  Lets be honest there is no way that Tehran will give up its nuclear stockpile, whatever Trump thinks in his delusional mind.  On the whole the WAR was a disaster for Trump and the World. 

The Final US - Iran Deal - Update

BBC News: Reports the following, " President Donald Trump formally signed the deal - which is set to reopen the pivotal Strait of Hormuz - while attending the G7 summit in Evian-les-Bains in France.  "

Let's Get Real:

The Deal is BAD, it's reopens Strait of Hormuz; it was open before the war; does not guarantee that Iran won't charge service charges, against international law.  No clear agreement on ending Iran' s nuclear stockpile.  The removal sanctions on Iran.  These are just the low points, the Hawks in the Republican Party should have a fit, the Democrats will use the issue in the November elections.  Also Israel will not be happy, they are staying in Lebanon, whatever Trump agrees with the theocracy in Iran.

Burnham for Change - Update

Guardian: Reports in its 5.30pm post the following, " Burnham says he wants to ensure Makerfield byelection 'changes British politics', in eve-of-poll speech to supporters " 

Let's Get Real:

What Burnham wants is to win Makerfield and become PM.  The chief selling point for Burnham is he will replace Sir Keir Starmer, the most disliked PM in the history of polls.  The UK voters have had enough of the Starmer u-turns, 15 or 16 at the last count, no charisma.  Burnham can promise the earth, economic reality has a way of showing political promises are worthless.  Thus a new era with Burnham on Friday, if he wins Makerfield.
