New York Times: What an article by the NYT, its almost a eulogy to the Hillary Clinton Campaign, going through the motions when you know its over, like Huckabee in some respects. Come on Hillary Clinton win will you, we need you in the General Election.

Nothing to Lose?

WSJ: Reports on the surge of attacks on Senator Obama by the Clinton Machine. As has been noted by other papers and by the WSJ, Clinton limited the attacks in the Presidential Debate on Thursday, this lack of a successful debate and moved the Clinton Machine to go on the attack no matter the effect on the Democratic Party.

Shame on Clinton?

BBC News: Reports Hillary Clinton has gone negative, she has accused Senator Obama of stating false information about her polices in a political leaflet. The BBC reports she has stated to a crowed, “ Shame on you, Barack Obama ”. It’s a pity Senator Clinton was not as tough on her husband in 1998. That was a shameful period in American Politics.

Obama and Afghanistan

Fox News: Reports that the Statement made by Senator Obama that troops sent to Afghanistan did not have the full kit has come under question from the Defense Department in the USA. Afghanistan has become the shadow War; Iraq has become political football between the Republicans and the Democrats. The Democrats dare not suggest pull out of Afghanistan. It can be argued that from a certain perspective that Afghanistan is a just war while Iraq is seen by those on the left as an unjust war, a war of choice.

McCain and the New York Times

New York Times: Interesting article by they LIBERAL NYT on its fight with Senator John McCain. On the whole very fair article, am somewhat surprised. I guess if you have shot your shelf in the foot and your in a hole, time to retreat and act as if you are the paper of record for the United State not an arm of the Democratic Party. This won’t last long. McCain 1 - 0 NYT.

New Texas Poll

ABC News/Washington Post: Has Clinton and Obama tied in the State. Obama by March 4th could be in the lead if these poll results follow this pattern. The Poll states the following:

Clinton 48 %

Obama 47 %

Texas will hold a Primary and a Caucus on the same day. Both choose the Delegates, and within that context the delegates are in major urban centres that will help Obama. Obama has a great field operation to get his supporters to vote. If your Obama supporter remember you have two votes in Texas, the Primary Vote and then you must Caucus to gain more delegates. Politics is fun.
