It's Iowa Caucuses TIME - US Election 2020

Let's give BREXIT a brake for a bit, let's have some fun with US politics:

Lets Get Real:

The latest polls this blog saw had Senator Sanders winning Iowa and New Hampshire, we shall see if the polls get this race right, or are they a bit iffy like in 2016.  It can be postulated that Biden needs a win in Iowa and NH, if he loses both and comes in third or fourth then the election might be over for the former Vice - President.  On the other hand if he bucks the trend and wins Iowa and NH then the nomination could be his for the asking.  While a Sanders win would confirm the left ward move of the Democratic Party.  If Mayor Pete can pull surprise a victory then he could be the moderate to take on Sanders.   The problem is that Mayor Pete has a problem with black voters, in S.C in one poll he has ZERO black support, that would be a problem.  It promises to be a LONG NIGHT, on Tuesday we have the State of the Union and on Wednesday the President will be found NOT GUILTY by the US Senate.  Not a slow news week.

Sky News: Reports from the European Parliament " Pro-Remain MEPs burst into a rendition of Auld Lang Syne after the withdrawal agreement was approved by 621 votes to 49.  "

Lets Get Real:

It will be interesting to see who is OUT celebrating the FACT that the UK has left the EU after 47 years.   How many remainers still not accept the fact that we have LEFT.  The next interesting period is the transition period, how close will we be with the EU, hopefully not that close, the House of Parliament should be SOVEREIGN, not over the water in the EU.  If no deal can be reached then we should have a HARD BREXIT, just a basic trade agreement, no matter what Wales or Scotland say about the deal.

Lets Get Real:

Thus the final process of BREXIT has been done, the deal has been passed by the European Parliament.   The mournful look on the face of a lot MEPs was funny, the UK is not moving location, there is still the English Channel between US and Europe.   The Hard Remainers were crying, thinking more of wages and expenses that they will lose, the EU is called a gravy train for a reason!! not all of them of course, some of them believe in the Euro project, a FEDERAL EUROPE, a federal government with its own government and army, it thankful we got out in TIME.   One can speculate that it will be the FRENCH next, NOW that Germany owns and runs Europe, how long before the German taxpayer gets bored or peeved of having to pay for Europe.   The EU might not be on its last legs, but its end is coming. 

Our Fish should remain OUR Fish - Brexit 2 - 31st January 2020

Lets Get Real:

The UK voter made it clear in general election of 2019 that they want the UK out of the EU, and that means we keep our fish, and no longer regulated by the EU on our fishing waters.  If the IRISH want to cause problems, they be reminded that it's their loss if there is no agreement.  There is an Irish general election coming up in February, it could be that the Irish PM is trying to sound tough as to gain voters, politics never ends.   There should be a basic free trade agreement with the EU, at the end of the day the UK Parliament should be SOVEREIGN, not the EU or the EU Courts.

Lets Get Real:

In reality this blog could care less if there is a comma after prosperity, it is not needed as there is an and after it, also this blog is not sure if it is just a debate about the USE of the English language, a HARD REMAINER might try to use the issue in Court to block BREXIT, after three years of the HARD REMAINERS trying everything to block BREXIT, the blogger has its spider senses open to such a move.  That is what BREXIT PTSD does for you, you do not trust the establishment.   Even the dictionary 

Doctor Who Fugitive of the Judoon - Doctor Who Review - Arts

This was a real kick up the backside episode, the Doctor faced the Judoon, your favorite right wing cops, they shot innocent people even before the Doctor arrived, Graham was transported to a ship but a very familiar voice came on line, it was Captain ......   The Doctor managed to save Ruth who was being hunted by the Judoon, but Ruth had secrets, deep ones.  The Doctor discovered that the real Ruth was cloaked, ( the Doctor decided to take Ruth on a road trip to her home, to see what she could recall.  While the Doctor searched Ruth found out who she really was, and this was even more a shock to the Doctor, after that it alls spoilers, it was nice to see the set for the original TARDIS, but how is a spoiler ) Watch this episode is is great.

Lets Get Real:

Thus a week to go before the UK celebrates leaving the EU, it will be a historic day, the Channel planner shows that the BBC and ITV will have live coverage, while of course the 24/7 news channels will follow it hour by hour, and the it will be 1st February.   The UK will be an independent Sovereign State again.  The UK PM will no longer be left in a room while the others EU States decide OUR future.   The EU will have to come to the UK if it wants something, and they will sooner or later.   The EU without the UK will be a lesser power, we can decided our OWN foreign policy.  If the Russians try anything in the Baltic States it will not be the EU that defends them, it will be the US and the UK and the rest of NATO.  A time to celebrate, Freedom cometh.
