MOD: Reports that today two UK Soldiers were killed in Afghanistan by a man wearing a Afghan Police Uniform, the Soldiers were from the " 1st Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles ". Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 437 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total it has lost 394 in combat/hostile action, while 43 have died due to illness, accidents and other incidents.
