Lets Get Real:

The LEFT WING Guardian will look at any solution to prevent the UK leaving the EU.   The hard remainers are stubborn, they can not see the reality that the UK is leaving the EU.  Also you have the former Prime Minister, Tony Blair stating that it is more likely that Brexit could be stopped in its tracks.   The idea of Democracy seems lost on the left, if you win by ONE vote that is the result.   The elite left has to grow up and get the fact that the UK voted to leave, BBC News, Guardian, and Sky News need to accept that fact, it is called the will of the Demos. 

Trouble and Strife in the Labour Party - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

One does wonder IF Labour understands the process, if the Government loses its EU deal in the House of Commons then the UK goes on WTO rules, the UK will still be out of the EU.  The Labour Party is divided as is the Conservative Party, there are firm remainers MPs in the House of Commons, the tend to comes from seats with large cities as in the South, while many Northern MPs represent Seats that voted to leave the UK.   The Conservatives will need some Labour MPs to break the three line whip to support the Government, it could be a close vote.

The Northern Ireland Problem - Post Brexit

Sky News - Live Reporting: Reports on the PM's visit to Northern Ireland, the article states the following on the PM's view of the problem of Northern Ireland in its 2.45pm post, " "I think it's not a question of just whether I actually go and stand on the border, it's a question of do I understand the impact that has for people? Lets Get Real:

If the PM and the Conservative Government can get a good trade deal with the EU then there will not be a problem of Northern Ireland, the hard remainers are using the Good Friday Agreement as a way to stall the UK leaving the EU.   The PM has be clear, there will not be checkpoints on the border between the North and the Republic, the Good Friday Agreement is not under threat by Brexit.   The use of modern technology will help business pass the border as it does NOW, there will be electronic checkpoints, not armed guards on the border.  

One YEAR to go before BREXIT - Post Brexit

Thus ONE year to go before the UK leaves the EU, it can not come fast enough, the BBC News is in full remorse face, the left elite press, that being BBC News and the Guardian has no confidence in the Democratic process, they think that they are better that Main Street as they would say in the US.   As the PM states there will be money for the NHS and schools, the left should support that, what they want is TAX HIKES to pay for services.   The Hard Brexit supporters just want to be OUT of the EU, that is why they have been quiet of late, they will accept the path taken by May as long as it leads to the UK being out of the Gulag that is the EU. 

US Politics and North Korea - Trump Era

That's a new high for the President. "

If President Trump can make a deal with the North Korean leader it would be a political coup, the left would be stuck with egg on their elite faces.   In 1972 Nixon went to China, it was a first visit by a US President, and Nixon could take the heat from the right as he had been a firm anti - communist throughout his political career. Trump has been tougher than most Presidents when it comes to North Korea.   Of course when you think of Nixon, you think of Watergate, it could be the same for Trump, the Russian probe is on going, what will be the results, that is for a future date, thus a historic meeting between a US President and North Korea is on the cards, the question is, will it be PEACE or WAR, one would like to be a fly on the wall should the meet happen, this blog still has doubts that the meeting will happen, a week is a long time in politics.   Is Trump the new Nixon?

Thus far the Mueller probe has not flipped ANY Russians to the knowledge of this blog, there have been charges against Russians, but they are in Russia and the Russian government is not going to c0-operate with any investigation that has it at the heart of the probe.   The Mueller probe thus far has not proven that the Trump Campaign of 2016 was in close co - operation with the Russians.  It can be postulated that POTUS should sack Mueller, thus far he has not proven his case, he looks like he is searching for a crime.

Although President Trump has agreed to meet Kim Jong - un, this blog gives it a 50/50 of happening, the North Koreans want US troops out of South Korea and they want the US to cut the alliance with the South, and for this the North will give up its nuclear weapons.   The Trump Oval can not sell that kind of deal, the South needs the protection of the US against the military threat of the NORTH, also South Korea and Japan need the nuclear protection of the US against China.   The Summit between Trump and Kim Jong - un could fail even before a meeting.  The idea of having two ego maniacs in the same room should worry the World, Trump will only want to get rid of the nuclear weapons held by the North, while the North will want the above, that is a deal that Trump could not sell and should not try to sell.  The doomsday clock might have gone back a few seconds, there could still be a war in Asia.

What is remarkable about this article is the attempt to undermine it by the people who did it, they point out that Trump is close to Obama and Reagan at their time in office then go to undermine it, by bringing in the scandals that around Trump.  What has happened to the great CNN, it gives interviews to porn stars and is trashing Trump ALL the time.   CNN used to be the network of record, know its a pale example of itself.  This blog wants Fox News back in the UK, at least that network tried to be  balance.

At some point the Labour Party will have to split, those Blair supporters will have to decide how long they can defend the Corbyn Regime at the top of Labour.  It an be postulated that centre right MPs, in this case Blair/Brown supporters and hard remainers who want to stay in the EU will have to break from Labour and form their own Party on unit in the House of Commons.   If the moderates do not split they will find that their local seats are taken over by Corby supporters and they might find themselves De - Selected as MPs.   Is there honour in the Labour Party ?

Let's hope NATO increases the pressure on the Russians, a good way to start would be to place NATO troops in Eastern Ukraine, more troops for the Baltic States and extra defences for POLAND, a NATO member.   The Russians have to learn that they can not use a nerve agent in NATO Countries, if it had been the US we would be at Defcon 3 by now.   The Russians are playing HARDBALL, it about time the UK stopped playing by cricket rules and hit back hard against Russia.

The New Cold War 2 sees that the Russians have learned nothing from the past, as President Putin has a KGB background one would thought that he would have a brain cell not to make the same mistakes as in the past.   The Russian Bear has its claws out in Western Europe at the moment, thus its negative actions in the US and in Europe, the Kremlin sees the US and its allies as weak and thus open to pressure and maniplutation, from Brexit to the election of Donald Trump as President.   The West has to be firm, the bear must be pushed back in to its cave, and it is time that the bear learned that the past is the past if it wants to keep its claws.

The politics of the throwing out the Russians helps the May Government and throws a dim light on the leader of the Opposition, the Labour Party is in control of the HARD LEFT, they are weak when it comes to Russia and the State of Israel.  Corbyn has not changed his extreme left views since the 1980s, while Labour has gone from a centre right Party under Tony Blair to a left wing Party under Corbyn.   The Leader of the Opposition wanted endless talks with the Putin, while Putin and his thugs do criminal harm around the World.   The polls will be interesting for this week, Corbyn and Labour should see a fall in the polls, will that happen, we wait and see.

The Russian Federation has to be taught a lesson, they are no longer a SuperPower, they might have the bomb that does place them on top of the league, they use their power to subvert Democracies, as is the case of the Russian probe in the US, they are not a REAL military power, their main export is oil, the West is in the process of trying to move from a oil economy to other ways to power the economy of the West, such as solar panels etc. The West has to be firm with the Russian Bear, it needs to slap its paws, as a warning to keep their paws to themselves, the USSR has gone, someone has to tell that to Putin.

WHO cares what Trump did before he become a candidate for President, his affairs are well known, and he has said some of them didn't happen, the issue is about money, the porn star wants her 15 minute of fame, the left wing elite media is heading down the toilet, would they run with this story if it was FDR or JFK, no way, WITH Bill Clinton they had no choice, the President was impeached and tried by the Senate, not something you can hide away.    In way the elite media has forced Trump's  hand when it comes to Russia, the US has thrown out 60 Russian Officials because the nerve agent attack in the UK, would Trump have done that without the fear of the Russia probe, interesting question.  The New Cold War 2 has gotten a bit more colder.

The move by the Trump Administration to expel 60 Russian Officials can be seen as a reaction to Russian meddling in the 2016 Presidential Election and a way to divert people away from Trump's alleged affair with a porn Star and the Russian probe.  One knows which story will get the biggest people viewing, it will be the porn star story.  People love to see the powerful and rich getting in to trouble, makes them feel great.  No matter the reason for the expulsion, the act itself will hurt Russian intelligence, the TV series Homeland is behind the curve on this issue.   Putin's Russia will react, the question is how.

The idea that the UK would walk away from a deal with the EU is like seeing pigs fly, it will not happen, the UK has made to many concessions, and the UK would look foolish if it walked away after making concessions.   The House of Commons should reject the deal, but it won't, if the deal has the approval of the Government and the Opposition then it will pass.  The hard remainers have WON the peace as stated, the PM is weak, she is more worried about the hard remainers than the hard Brexit supporters.   If the Hard Brexit MPs had any honour they will reject the EU deal, the UK did not win Two World Wars to become a colony of the EU.   The talks so far are sad day for the UK.

The Brexit Secretary is sure of a deal because the Conservative Government has given concession after concession to the EU, the UK Government has sold the British voter out, we are leaving the EU in name only, if the hard remainers vote against the deal then they are mad, the UK will become a colony of the EU, a rule taker not a  rule maker.   The fishing Industry of the UK has been sold out, the EU will control our waters and fish, also EU citizens who come to the UK after Brexit will have the same rights at those EU Citizens here already, all we get is the ability to do trade deals.    The House of Commons should reject the deal.

It did not take long for the left to come out and bash the choice of Ambassador John Bolton as President Trump's new National Security Advisor, the left thinks that Bolton is going to lead Trump or is that the other way around in to another War, either in Iran or with North Korea.  Being a pundit on Fox news of long standing, it will be interesting to see if Bolton can be less of a hawk to the general world.   The left is already thinking that he will drag Trump and the US in to another War, it would be shock if Trump and Bolton could get a good deals with North Korea and Iran.   It is interesting days in D.C.

There is something to be said about staying within the Customs Union and Single Market, it prevents some of the radical polices of Corbyn's Labour Party, they could not take over vast areas of business as it would be against EU law.   Also Lady Thatcher was rather proud of the single market that was supported by the then Conservative Government.   The trouble and strife in Labour is the mirror of the problems within the Conservative Party, you have a few remainers who want the EU more than the UK to be in control.  One thing about Brexit, it has bought some fun back in to politics.

It seems that Jeremy Corbyn does not like dissent within his Shadow Cabinet, what a irony, Corbyn has hardly followed the LABOUR line in the past, it shows what happens once you give people power.   The LABOUR PARTY has to accept that it has a leader who in his heart of hearts is a hard Brexit supporter, but is being forced by hard remainers to stay within the Customs Union.   It would not shock this blog if the Labour Party split over Brexit, with the hard remainers forming a partnership with the Liberal Democrats and a few Conservatives. The hard remainers within the Labour Party have to remember that in their elected leader you have a hard Brexit supporter who can not say that and keep the Labour Party together.   Jeremy Corbyn under pressure has agreed to a SOFT Brexit.   The Labour policy is to keep the UK in the EU Customs Union, while being out of the Single Market, that would restrict any Corbyn Government in the future.   It should be stated that Lady Thatcher was rather proud of the Single Market as it was pushed by the Conservative Government at the time, its limits how much a Government can do within the business sector.

As Ambassador Bolton is a hawk the Governments of North Korea and Iran should be worried, a first strike is not out of the question with both Trump and Bolton being hawks on the Obama/ Iran deal.   On the issue of North Korea it will be interesting, as Trump has agreed to meet the North Korean leader, one would assume that Trump and Bolton have talked about the issue and are on the same page, the problem is what is on the page, will Trump really meet with the North Korea leader, Trump does not like to look weak on the World Stage.   One can assume that US Foreign Policy will become more hawkish and run from the White House, never boring days at the Oval.

The Diplomats in the US State Department will not be happy with the choice of Ambassador John Bolton as Trump's New National Security Adviser, the Ambassador has no time for the UN, is a hawk when it comes to taking military action, Iran and North Korea will be concerned that Trump with the support of Bolton could take military action at some point.    The US left will have a fit, expect the elite media to come out against Bolton, it should be noted that Bush 43 could only make Bolton the UN Ambassador when the US Congress was in recess, thus the Oval could appoint Bolton, it is doubtful that the US Senate would have passed Bolton for the UN Job.

The Trump Oval did not take the advice of his staff not to praise a re-elected President Putin.   Even the Russians must be sick of the Trump praise, it only makes people think that the FSB has something very nasty on Trump.   However bad it might be it less dangerous than the present D.C hobby of thinking what is it, this blog even with the best will in the World, finds it hard to be supportive of Trump when he is in Putin praising mood, Putin is a KGB thug, nothing more, the West can see that, why not the Trump Oval.

The Russians will not like that their  "re-elected " President is being compared to Adolf Hitler, the PR engines in Moscow will be used 24/7 to make Putin look good and that the UK is playing out a new Cold War.   The problem is that Russians will know that their leader is following the Hitler casebook on how to win one over the West, from Georgia to the recent attack in Salisbury the West has been weak, they have appeased a MONSTER, who one day will go to far, because the West has been to soft.   The West needs to be tough with Putin, do no make the mistakes of the appeasers in 1930s.

Thus the UK has SOLD OUT Northern Ireland, one does wonder what the DUP make of the deal, it is through an alliance with the DUP that the Conservative Party is in power.  The DEAL between the UK and the EU is bad, it as stated UK fishermen/women will be under EU law, our own fish will be decided by the EU.  Also EU citizens who come to the UK after March 2019 will have the same rights at those EU citizens here at present.   The British Diplomats have folded like a cheap hooker, any deal whatever the cost.   The House of Commons should reject the deal.

The right wing Daily Mail just wants the UK out of the EU, thus it will accept any deal that makes that happen, the Irish border question is kicked down the road, UK waters will be under the control of the EU, EU Citizens who come to the UK after March 2019 will have the same rights as those here already.   The UK will be a rule taker, we will be a colony of the EU.   The House of Commons should reject this deal, it's a sellout by the May Government.  Any deal is not a good deal!!

THUS big business has won the post Brexit battle, while the poor fishermen/women of the UK have been shafted, that is clear from the deal.   The idea that Brexit would mean Brexit has been betrayed by the Conservative Government, it will be interesting to see how many Conservative MPs vote for this deal, it can be argued that they should VOTE NO and the UK should take it chances on WTO rules.   A sad day for a Conservative supporters, a good day for remain supporters.

The Brexit transition deal is the UK leaving the EU is name only.   After the UK leaves the EU in March of 2019 those EU citizens who come to the UK during the transition deal will have the same rights as those here at the present.   The EU will be in charge of the fisheries policy, that will not go down well with Scottish fishermen/women.  The May Government has sold the UK out, when does Brexit mean Brexit, thus far the hard Brexit supporters will not be happy.

IF there is no Brexit deal, the British would just open the borders and force the EU to order different Countries to place borders, it's a very risky move, what would the EU do, does it want heavy transport to cause problems on the roads, as they are checked by EU Officials, that would be a nightmare.   IF this is a bluff by the UK it is risky, is the British Government really thinking that there could be NO DEAL.   One does wonder how the talks are going, could they fall apart?   Interesting days, weeks, months ahead.

The Russians will laugh at these expulsions, the PM should have thrown the entire Russian Embassy OUT, also freeze the assets of those close to Putin, NATO and the EU should have made more of the issue, the next time it could be on the mainland of the Europe.   The sanction that no British Officials or the Royal Family will visit Russia during the World Cup is small fry, UK teams should have been withdrawn.  The Labour response by Jeremy Corbyn was treated with scorn by the PM, that was a good attack on Corbyn, he seemed to believe that it needed more proof that Russia had carried out the attack.   The Putin regime is a rogue nation, its leader has blood on his hands, we are in a new Cold War 2.

The sacking of Rex Tillerson should make IRAN very wary, the Trump Oval through out the campaign and since has stated that he wanted to negate the Treaty.   The Trump Oval faces two complicated problems, Iran and North Korea, if the Trump Oval wants a tougher deal with the Iran he will need his allies to follow through, the ex Secretary of State was alright with the Obama/Iran deal.  If Trump is to talk to North Korea he will need to get  a better deal than Obama got with Iran, otherwise his critics will say that he sold out the US for some good PR.  Either Iran or North Korea could lead to another War for the US, this is the time  for Diplomacy.

When the left wing Guardian takes pity on you then you know you are in trouble, it can be stated that Tillerson was the worse Secretary of State EVER, he served the shortest period.  It would be fair to say that Tillerson was no Henry Kissinger, NSA and Secretary of State to Richard Nixon and President Ford.   The US Secretary of State should have the ear of the President, whatever a Secretary State might think of his boss he should keep it to himself, calling him a moron is not great politics or diplomacy.   Tillerson was so out of touch that the Trump Oval did not tell him that Trump had agreed to meet with the Leader of North Korea.   Let's see how the next Secretary behaves, he was the head of the CIA, and must have learned NEVER to be out of Office while the Donald is on Twitter.
