This will worry the pro remainers in the Conservative Party, they do not even want the UK to leave the EU.    The more hard Brexit supporters will be very happy, when the politicians come back from holiday there will be a growing boiling point in the House of Commons, press and TV.   It will be interesting to see who blinks first, will the UK make more concessions or will the EU blink.  September to November is going to be very interesting on the political front.

The NEW home for the Hard Remainers is Sky News, they have been pushing for a 2nd Brexit vote since the start of August, any story that is negative for Brexit has made the headlines, this includes pro EU stories, while you would think Brexit supporters had gone to MARS.   It is time for HARD BREXIT supporters to fight back, its trench warfare out there when it comes to social media, miss quote a famous comedy character in Dad Army, they do not like the TRUTH UP THEM.

David Lidington's in May's 2nd in command, the above is a warning to both the HARD Remainers and the Hard Brexit supporters and the EU.   The PM faces a tricky few months, the EU wants more concessions, while the Hard Remainers want to remain in the EU while the Hard Brexit supporters want a clean departure from the EU.   The Labour Party is lead by a leader who has supported a hard Brexit throughout his political career, a majority of his MPs want to remain in the EU.   The Labour Party Conference will face a motion for the Labour Party to support a 2nd vote on Brexit, it will be interesting to see the reaction of the leader. Politics is back after the holiday.

As this blog has stated, the hard remainers HQ can be found at BBC News, Sky News and the Guardian, it can be said that Sky has been more forward than even the BBC in its push for a 2nd vote.   The liberal elite to this day can not understand why we are leaving the EU, they only consider democracy at work if it works for them.    The Hard Brexit supporters need to come back in to the fight, its trench warfare out there, and the remainers are winning.

The August Summer Holidays are coming to and end for the Pols of House of Commons.   The PM is in South Africa trying to sell a UK and South Africa trade deal after Brexit.  On the home front the hard Remainers have been hard at it through August, BBC News and Sky News have been spouting hard remainers PR as gospel.  The Brexit supporters need to fight back, the British people voted for Brexit, and they want Brexit, what ever new polls that say the reverse should be looked at very careful and who funded them.   The Brexit Battle is on. 

Sessions on the Attack - Trump Era

It is about time that the US Attorney General went toe to toe with the Oval Office, POTUS spends most of his days being critical of Sessions and the US Justice Department.   It can be argued that Sessions has kept his honour while Trump has debased the Office of the Presidency.   If Trump wants to fire Sessions he has the power, then he should do it, if POTUS wants to be the strong man he should ACT, fire Sessions, finish the Russian investigation and see what happens afterwards. 

Donald Trump on the Hush Money and the 2016 Campaign - Trump Era

When a President has to discuss hush money there are going to be political pitfalls, the Trump base so far is staying with the President, as long as the base stays then the Republicans on the Hill will support their leader.  The question is what does the Russian investigation have on Trump and can they get him to talk to them.  This is going to be a long drawn out process, and there is still a chance that Trump could walk away from it as Bill Clinton walk away from it in 1998.   The Democrats have to be careful that they do not draw the anger of the Trump base, that could get them out out in the November, Trump has made a lot of enemies in the elite press.

The worry for POTUS is the fact that his former personal lawyer will talk to the Russian investigation and his lawyer is a well known Democrat, something most of the press on this side of the Atlantic seems to have missed, he has spent years in the defence of Bill and Hillary Clinton.   The next major step is the Mid Terms, if the Democrats take the House they could impeach Trump but the issue then moves to the Senate, that is a different matter, it would need Republicans to get rid of Trump, that will not happen if there is not more from the Russian investigation.

As I have noted in my previous posts the liberal TV and press are ALL over the story, they see this as another Watergate, anything to get rid of Donald Trump.   The Deep State and its many actors are out to get Trump, they have no interest in Democracy, this blog has no time for President Trump and his colourful staff or former staff, but the American people should decide the fate of POTUS not the liberal deep state.   The Russian investigation will go on for YEARS.

More Bad news for the Trump Oval, the President's former personal lawyer has done a DEAL with the FEDS over hush money to alleged women who had affairs with the President.   The use of campaign funds to keep the women  from telling their story is  against the law, the question is what happens NEXT.   The Democrats will use the issue in the Mid Terms and 2020 election.   The left in the Democratic Party want to impeach Trump if they win the House, the case would then go to the Senate, there the chances of success are slim. The left wing press are ALL over the story.

This is not a good day for the Trump Oval, his 2016 Campaign Manager has been found guilty due to his links to the Ukraine and Russia, and his personal lawyer has done a deal with the feds over a payment to a porn star over allegation that she had an affair with Trump in the past.   The question is what will Trump DO, does he fear that Manafort has something on him and thus grants him a Presidential Pardon, this would cause an outcry, the Democrats would shout cover up.   In many ways this is a re-run of 1998 and the allegations against Bill Clinton.  The liberal elite press will be ALL over the story.

This is a very petty move by the Oval, it only plays in to the hands of the liberal press elite, they will play this story for all its worth and the Democrats will be ALL over it, one can see why the Trump Oval has done this, these on the whole former Obama officials have been very critical of the Trump Administration and of President Trump, and the Oval wanted to fight back.   POTUS should think of hiring former Secretary of State James Baker as his Chief of Staff, he was a Reagan's first term Chief of Staff and is considered a role model.

POTUS has a track record of saying racist things, from his view that Mexican men who come to the US are rapists etc, the question is does POTUS understand what comes out of his mouth, is it a strategy or does he not know.  The President whatever his anger can not use this words about African - Americans, it gives others the idea that they can use such language.   The Trump Chief of Staff needs a quiet word with a President and should hire a African - American to be on the Trump staff.   The Civil Rights movement fought for African - Americans to be respected, that does not mean you can not be critical, but it must be done in a respectful manner.

If you want a CHEAP holiday go to Turkey, you get more for the pound.  On the economic side the Turkish Government has to learn that it can not beat the US, the US is an economic superpower, while Turkey is not, in other words Turkey should do what the US wants or face a economic meltdown.

It is sad to see how non Presidential Donald Trump is, he is the worst President since Richard Nixon, but Nixon has the benefit of a first class brain when it comes to international politics, he got out Vietnam, he developed a relationship with China, eased Cold War tensions, and was more liberal on the domestic front.  One can almost hear Democrats saying, come back Tricky Dickie, we take you over Donald Trump, even if you hated liberals.  At least Nixon kept his racist views to himself, as can be seen on his tapes, while the Trump is using words about a former Staffer that could be racist, with the exception that this blog does not have much time for Omarosa Manigault Newman, what earth made President Trump give her a job, he must have know what she was like from his show.  The Oval needs some decorum, and the Chief of Staff has to make sure no one is recording talks.

If you think about it, the US has got nothing for giving a Presidential Summit to North Korea, all that North Korea has done is return the remains of a few dead American Soldiers from the Korean War.   The Trump Oval has to accept the fact that it was played by North Korea.   The military training between the US and North Korea should NOW take place after they were placed on hold by President Trump.   The US needs to make sure that its Allies, South Korea and Japan have the defence against any new North Korean rockets.

The internal pressures in Iran are growing, the economy of Iran is going down the toilet.  The Tehran Regime might react by attempting to thwart oil going from the Middle East to the West, they could hit tankers or attack US ships, this would be a major mistake, as the US voter would support Trump if he want to war with Iran, there is no love lost between the US and Iran.   The major sanctions will come in November, will Tehran wait that long before taking action.

This is the ONE good aspect of the Trump Foreign Policy, it can be postulated that Israel and Saudi Arabia will support the move, they saw the Obama Administration as weak on Iran.   The US Naval Fleet should expect some kind of military action by Iran, this would be a mistake by Tehran, the Trump Oval will use any reason to attack Iran. Interesting few months ahead.

Whitehall and the FCO is full of remainers who want to stay in the EU no matter the cost.    Thus the stressing a deal that could come, even if it is BAD DEAL.   The HARD BREXIT supporters have to keep eye on the PM and those around her, the PM will take a BAD DEAL and try to sell it to the House of Commons.   The hard remainers are in full flow, they run with negative stories while never a mention of the good that could come out of Brexit.     Time is SHORT for a good deal.

The UK PM has to be tough with the EU, the European Commission thinks that the UK will blink and agree to ANY terms that it states.   The PM has to make it clear to the EU that the UK will walk away if it does not get a GOOD DEAL.  PM May has to find her inner Thatcher, she has to be tough, she has to stand her ground.   The Hot Bed of remainers, BBC News, Guardian and Sky News will run any story that is a negative, the Hard Brexit supporters have to run with counter news, on how GOOD Brexit is, time is short for an agreement.

The THINKING of Trump behind his latest Tweet - Trump Era

The Trump Oval must be afraid that Paul Manafort will turn on him, Mr Manafort faces a LONG jail term IF convicted, it has been argued that the Special Prosecutor is waiting for that thus the heavy chagres bough by the prosecutor.   The President could pardon Mr Manafort but that would not look good and the Democrats would run on the issue in the Mid terms and in 2020.   It is said that POTUS is watching the trail with an eagle eye, always asking for updates and the advice of his lawyers.    Manafort case is the top issue at the White House, interesting days ahead for the Trial.

If the Trump Oval has the backbone it would sack the Special Prosecutor, the President has the power, the reason that he has not acted is the fact that the reaction on the Hill would not be good and it would help the Democrats in the Mid Terms in November.   The President should take the risk, it can be argued that most Republicans will stay quiet on the subject, while the Democrats will go to town on the issue.    Does POTUS have the backbone, is he man enough to do the job?
