If Romney loses the Republicans will argue that is some respect its down to liberal elite media, that is rubbish folks. In 1980 Reagan faced a much more powerful uber liberal media, there was no Fox News, no Internet and he won 44 States, in 84 he won 49 States and Reagan is the model is that Team Romney wants to repeat. In 2000 Bush 43 had Fox News a a counter to the uber main stream media, there was also the Internet, and he won the electoral college in 2000 and beat Kerry in 2004. Thus if Romney loses it will be down to the candidate, he has to take the fight to POTUS at the debates. The advice to Governor Romney when it comes to the debates is be himself, he is no Reagan, or Bush 43, he has to be the man that will clear up the liberal mess of Obama. There is also advice to Democrats on the ticket this year, be careful that the voter does not split his/her vote, that they vote for Obama, but to make sure he can not do anything like ObamaCare again they vote for Republicans down the ticket, if I was Candidate for the House or Senate and A Democrat that would be on my mind night and day. Its still early folks, no need for Republicans to get out the Prozac, politics is the long game, and the last man standing wins the Oval.
