The New York Times: Reports that that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu " harshly criticized the Obama administration on Tuesday over recent statements that the United States would not set deadlines or draw “red lines” for Iran.. ". Also POTUS has refused a meeting request from the Israeli PM.
Lets Get Real:
This is a BAD MISTAKE by the Oval, on the political front and Obama's Iran policy. The Israeli Lobby can make Obama's life very negative over the next two months should they make it known that Obama is throwing Israel under the bus, if this happens Obama can forget the electoral votes in Florida. The Republicans will use this SNUB of the Israeli PM in their TV adverts, Obama is considered a fool by Tehran, they have his number, they know he will not act should they go nuclear, he just wants to get re-elected, then he will drop Israel fast. If your the Israeli PM you can argue to your Government and to the Israeli people that since Obama would do this kind of snub he can not be trusted. If I was Team Obama, I would make sure that POTUS found the time to meet the Israeli PM, otherwise he might find that he is like Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, they discovered through the news that Israel has taken military action. If this blog was the Israeli PM it would attack Iran just before the November election, force Obama off his ego, he would have to support Israel, the left will go bonkers, might depress the left vote and allow Romney to win, of course if this blog was the Israeli PM. Lets hope the Israeli PM is nicer than this blog.
