Emergency Budget in the UK

HM Treasury: Has the statement by the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne that there will be an Emergency Budget in the UK in six weeks time, that budget will look to cut six billion in public spending. also to place economic forecasts outside the Treasury, the new Office for Budget Responsibility will develop Independent Forecasts for the Government. In pure political terms this will get the political blood on the hands of the Lib Dems, for the first time since the 1920s they are the power, they have to justify public spending cuts, they face as Labour and the Conservatives have faced the wrath of those on the wrong side of the cuts, it will be interesting to see if those on the left of the Lib Dems can support these drastic cuts, will they still support the coalition government, better the economic pain now that before the election in 2015. As to the OBR this could be spin, it depends who is doing the sums, all is political in Government, lets see how honest they are with their political masters. Expect deep public sector cuts folks, increase in VAT, Tax, just TAX in other words, when the red ink of Labour is over one hundred and sixty three Billion you need the ax man to cut that debt, the Thatcher cuts of the 80s will look like happy hour folks.
