Florida Polls - Republican Race

RCP: Reports on its average of the Florida Polls, as of now the candidates stand at the following, Romney 41.0%, Gingrich 29.7%, Santorum 13.5% and Paul on 9.8%. The Romney lead is 11.3%. Thus folks it will be hard for Speaker Gingrich turn this around before the Tuesday vote, the last Republican debate was a win for Governor Romney, the bounce that Gingrich got from South Carolina has gone up in smoke. The Primary in Florida selects 50 delegates, in the Florida vote winner takes all, thus Romney should sweep the board. If Romney wins big and if the polls are not wrong, then this race is over folks, yes Gingrich, Santorum will stay in the race, in the case of Gingrich its to wound Romney before the General Election, while for Santorum it could be a bid for the VP spot. In the case Congressman Paul its to get his ideas on the Republican Manifesto for November; also to speak at prime time at the Republican Convention. Thus after a BIG win in Florida the Romney Campaign has to turn its attention to President Obama, the Democrats will start to define Romney before the Republican Race is over, they are following the 1996 playbook of Bill Clinton, who defined Senator Dole before he had chance to define himself or Bill Clinton. The Republican Elders should really placing pressure on the other Republican Candidates to get out of the race, the longer this goes the more chance that POTUS will win re-election.
