Thank God for Lady Thatcher, see inherited the UK as the sick man of Europe and left it strong, a close ally of the US, richer, and the Unions under control and saw the demise of the Cold War. As with President Reagan, Lady Thatcher had family problems, but there is cost to all great things, the World is a better place for having Reagan in the US and Thatcher in the UK at a time of change.
