Lets Get Real:

The Democratic race is going dirty pool, the only result that matters is winning. IF Sanders can take Iowa and New Hampshire from Hillary Clinton he could really make it tough for Hilary to get the nomination.  On the other hand if HRC takes Iowa and comes in a close second in NH this should put Clinton the way to the White House, there is a firewall in South, in this case African - American voters, and the first African - American President has made it clear that he supports HRC, even if he did have an afternoon meeting with Senator Sanders.   Thus it matters who wins Iowa, it could decide the political future of HRC. 

The Donald vs. Fox News

Donald Trump Campaign:  Has released the following statement: " As someone who wrote one of the best-selling business books of all time, The Art of the Deal, who has built an incredible company, including some of the most valuable and iconic assets in the world, and as someone who has a personal net worth of many billions of dollars, Mr. Trump knows a bad deal when he sees one. FOX News is making tens of millions of dollars on debates, and setting ratings records (the highest in history), where as in previous years they were low-rated afterthoughts. 

Unlike the very stupid, highly incompetent people running our country into the ground, Mr. Trump knows when to walk away. Roger Ailes and FOX News think they can toy with him, but Mr. Trump doesn’t play games. There have already been six debates, and according to all online debate polls including Drudge, Slate, Time Magazine, and many others, Mr. Trump has won all of them, in particular the last one. Whereas he has always been a job creator and not a debater, he nevertheless truly enjoys the debating process - and it has been very good for him, both in polls and popularity. 

He will not be participating in the FOX News debate and will instead host an event in Iowa to raise money for the Veterans and Wounded Warriors, who have been treated so horribly by our all talk, no action politicians. Like running for office as an extremely successful person, this takes guts and it is the kind of mentality our country needs in order to Make America Great Again. "

Lets Get Real:

This blog can not tell if the move by Donald Trump will become a hit or might cost him the Iowa caucus.   The voters like it when candidates take on the press, but this is different, its personal, its the Donald vs. Ms Kelly of Fox News.   The day a news outlet allows candidates to decide who will present a debate is the day that channel is no longer a real news channel.  Fox News has backed up Ms Kelly as it should, one can argue that this issue should have resolved before the debate, or was Trump looking for a way out, he leads the pack by double digits, why put that at risk with debate.  The voters of Iowa will decide the real winner. 

Trump vs Ms Kelly Part 2 - Election 2016

The New York Times: Reports that Donald Trump is still going on about his feud with Fox Anchor Miss Kelley, he has stated , " In an interview with CNN on Monday, Mr. Trump again lashed out at Megyn Kelly, the Fox News host and moderator who asked Mr. Trump at a debate last year if previous remarks he had made were a “part of the war on women.” Ms. Kelly is one of the moderators at the debate on Thursday as well, and Mr. Trump said he might not attend. "

Lets Get Real:

Mr Trump has shown no class, he no is JFK or Ronald Reagan,  he feud with Megyn Kelly shows that he does not have respect for women who challenge him, the questions that started the feud came from the mouth of the Donald.  Since then he has been at WAR with Ms Kelly and Fox News.  One has wonder what he would do when he has to face Putin or a terrorist threat, go about his polls, that is a serious question.    Lets hope the Republican Party smells the coffee and fast, otherwise moderate Conservatives will have a choice, either not to vote or vote for HRC.

Telegraph: Reports on Hillary Clinton's comments on Donald Trump, while she praised President Lincoln, "  Mrs Clinton was much less generous about present-day Republicans and issued a blistering moral condemnation of Donald Trump's call for a ban on Muslims entering the when a Muslim woman wearing Islamic head-covering asked for assurance that America was the best place to raise her three children. "

Lets Get Real:

This is why should the Republicans nominate Trump that this blog will support HRC, she called Trump out on his racist comments, the rest of the Republican field with the exception of Jeb Bush have let the issue go, while Bush has called Trump a jerk,  but in political reality the Bush Campaign is OVER, the only real threat to Trump is Cruz, not one Republican Senator has come out in support of Cruz, he is that hated by the Republican Establishment. Thus lets hope Senator Rubio of Florida can make Iowa lean towards him, otherwise its a Trump vs Clinton match up. 

The Polls 2016 and Iowa - Election 2016

Guardian - US Politics Live: Reports the following polls, on the National race for Republicans and for Iowa, " A CNN/ORC poll out today shows Donald Trump polling at 41%nationally while Texas Sen. Ted Cruz trails at a mere 19%. ...Today’s Quinnipiac University poll of Iowa voters has Trump polling at 31% and Cruz at 29%. "

Lets Get Real:

It can be said that Donald Trump has the national lead by a wide margin, the question is can he run the board, that is take Iowa and New Hampshire and then the South, if Cruz can win by a small margin that will keep his campaign alive for more Conservative States, but then Cruz has to win, if he loses Iowa and New Hampshire it can be argued that he is finished.  Thus its down to the voters of Iowa, one can only hope that they go for a moderate like Rubio, the Florida Senator, but that is more of a leap of faith than political reality.   The next few days are going to see a lot polls, just keep the average in mind, long shot polls need to be confirmed by other polls. 

Obama, Clinton vs Sanders - Election 2016

Telegraph: Reports " President Barack Obama has stepped in to shore up Hillary Clinton amid signs of panic that she could lose the first two states in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination. "

Lets Get Real:

The Democratic Establishment is SCARED stiff by the prospect that Senator Sanders could be their nominee, they understand they could lose ALL 50 States in November 2016.   Thus expect more help for the Clinton Camp, the Oval is not neutral it wants to see HRC win, it will payback for Bill Clinton for helping the Obama/Biden Campaign in 2012.   Thus one can expect the elite liberal press to start going after Sanders, they take their orders from the Democratic Party.   Thus we have a campaign about the future of the Democratic Party, Clinton is the past, while Sanders is a 60s relic and very left wing.

Lets Get Real:

In real politics the deal has been done, Bill Clinton helped President Obama get re-elected in 2012, now the Clintons expect the Oval Office to pay them back in the general election and even in the Democratic race, the interview the President gives is total praise for Hillary Clinton and her record, and the fact that Senators has no such record, a lot like Obama in 08.   Of course in 08 Obama had the African - American vote, in this election cycle it can be expected that Bill Clinton will be out getting the black vote, as many historians have noted  Bill Clinton was the real first Black President, he understood and respected the culture and seen as one of their own before Obama.  As noted by this blog and others, the 2016 race is over,  HRC might lose Iowa and New Hampshire but she has a fire wall in the South, it will be a long race, but HRC will be the nominee, the question is who will the Republicans chose.
