Welfare Reform

Guardian: Reports on arguments between the UK Treasury and the Department of Work and Pensions, the argument is how to get people off welfare bill without it costing or cutting benefits to fund any welfare reform. The Coalition Government has to be tough, it has to cut benefits for those in the Middle Class, it’s a tax break in many respects, it needs tax money to help those get a job but also make sure that if you get a job you are not worse off, thus cut middle class benefits such as child benefits to any family with an income over forty thousand pounds, reduce benefits for those under forty thousand, in fact half such benefits. In the long term you get people back to work, the tax revenue goes up and you can afford to give back these tax benefits. This is the time for tough action folks, later down the line the political costs will be to high, strike while the voter understand and benefit at the polls later.
