Murder in Tehran

Guardian: Reports on the murder of a nuclear scientist in Tehran, Iran, the scientist Masoud Ali Mohammadi had links to those dissenting in Iran. The Tehran government is blaming the Israel and the West, while the fact that the scientist has links to those dissenting in Iran could place the guilt at the hands of Government in Tehran. Thus one can see that the finger will be pointed at Mossad in Israel, the CIA in the USA and MI6 in the UK. As for the view of this blog, the murder does seem to have been a professional hit, but who and why, as the scientist had links to those that opposed the regime it seems odd that Israel or the West would take him out, on other hand his very career could make him attractive hit for the regime, as they could get rid of a dissenter, prevent him telling the West what he knew, make it look like a Western hit and the left wing elite media would blame Israel, we have all seen the film Munich. Thus one has a feeling that this will be a cold case for a very long time, of course it could just as well be a personal reason that he was killed, but it is easy for Tehran to set the blame on Israel and the West.
