The Revolt in Iran ?

The Times: Reports on the call by the leader of the opposition in Iran Mir Hossein Mousavi for the people to come out to demonstrate against the election result. Lets look at the reality from the Western point of view, would it be easier to get World backing to deal with a nuclear Iran under Ahmadinejad or Mousavi, the simple answer the Obama Administration could get sanctions against Ahmadinejad but it would take time under a new Mousavi Government. Mousavi might seem a reformer but he comes from the system, President Obama stated that last night in an interview, Fox News pointed out that when Mousavi was PM of Iran he had few thousand people killed. Thus we are not dealing with a new Boris Yeltsin. In other words this is not the end of the USSR in 1991. In pure political terms it would be better for Obama if Ahmadinejad was still in power, Ahmadinejad wants to be a nuclear power, thus it will make it easier for Obama to allow Israel to bomb the nuclear sites of Iran. Of course if we are seeing a real revolution in Iran, this could be a new ball game, lets see, lets hope the people get the chance of freedom.
